Streszczenie: W artykule dokonano próbę stworzenia profilu kompetencyjnego doradcy zawodowego pracującego w systemie oświaty. Przedstawiono strukturę doradztwa zawodowego oraz zadania doradcy zawodowego wynikające z przepisów prawa oświatowego. Bazując na doświadczeniu własnym oraz przeglądzie literatury przedmiotu starano się z jednej strony ukazać zakres zadań doradcy, z drugiej strony, poddać refleksji, jakie umiejętności winna posiadać osoba udzielająca wsparcia doradczego.

Abstract: The article attempts to create a competency profile of a career counsellor working in the educational system. The structure of professional counselling and the tasks of a professional counsellor under the provisions of educational law are presented. Based on personal experience and a review of the literature on the subject, an attempt was made, on the one hand, to show the range of tasks of the counsellor, on the other hand, to reflect on what skills a person providing counselling support should have.
