An interactive form of classes supporting the motivation of early school education students to solve mathematical problems

Streszczenie: W opracowaniu przedstawiono sposób motywowania studentów kierunku edukacja wczesnoszkolna do samodzielnego rozwiązywania problemów matematycznych. Zaproponowano interaktywne zajęcia, podczas których studentki rozwiązywały problemy matematyczne na poszczególnych wyspach tematycznych. Podczas uczenia się wykorzystywały manipulowanie przedmiotami. Badanie zrealizowano w procedurze action reasearch. Wyniki badania opisano w czterech zakresach czynności badacza: przygotowanie środowiska uczenia się (organizacja badań), obserwacja badanych, komunikacja ze studentami (wywiady ze studentami), wykorzystanie wyników.

Abstract: The study presents a method of motivating students of early childhood education to solve mathematical problems on their own. Interactive classes were proposed, during which students solved mathematical problems on individual thematic islands. While learning, they made use of the manipulation of objects. The research was carried out in the action research procedure. The results of the study were described in four areas of the researcher's activities: preparation of the learning environment (research organization), observation of the respondents, communication with students (interviews with students), use of the results.
