Abstract: The aim of the study is to characterize personality of contemporary teacher on the basis of opinions of students and teachers from primary schools. According to their responses modern personality of teacher should be based on the following characteristics: openness, reliability, perseverance, dedication, empathy and unfailing willingness to help.
