Research on the determinants of students’ religiousness

Streszczenie: W artykule, obok podstaw teoretycznych, zaprezentowano wyniki badań nad wybranymi uwarunkowaniami religijności, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem grupy studentów. Na gruncie polskim interesujące są m. in. badania Instytutu Statystyki Kościoła Katolickiego SAC, mającego za zadanie nie tylko gromadzenie i opracowanie danych statystycznych o Kościele, ale także prowadzenie badań socjologicznych dotyczących religijności. Osobne miejsce w artykule zajmują wybrane fragmenty badań sondażowych przeprowadzonych wśród studentów Wydziału Nauk Pedagogicznych Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego.

Abstract: Apart from the theoretical foundations, the article presents the results of the research on the determinants of religiousness with particular emphasis on the group of students. In Poland, the Institute of Statistics of the Catholic Church SAC conducts very interesting sociological research on people’s religiousness along with its usual tasks of collecting the statistical data about the Church. A key part of the article is a summary of a survey conducted among students of the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University.
