Abstract: It is not possible to find whether work is a value or rather kind of enslavement of a person. Usually, people agree that the picture of work is not unanimous. Definitely, work is a value itself, but through it, we also create the values that let us fulfil various needs. Work facilitates personal and professional development, transforms both the environment and human beings. However, it is also a form of enslavement, caused by the pathological phenomena associated with it. On one hand it brings happiness, on the other it is the source of suffering.
